At a special membership meeting held on March 13, 2018, the members of Carle Employees Federal Credit Union (Carle CU) voted to merge with the University of Illinois Community Credit Union (UICCU). This merger is scheduled to take place on May 1, 2018.
Carle CU has been serving its members since 1965. Carle CU has approximately 2,700 members and more than $16 million in assets. UICCU has more than $328 million in assets and serves more than 45,000 members. UICCU has offered Carle CU employees positions following the merger.
The merger will provide the members of Carle CU access to more products and services, including expanded branch locations and extended hours. “It is our pleasure to welcome the members of Carle Credit Union. We look forward to
